A few games i forgot to mention:

Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy (Fantastic cyberpunk point & click adventure with intriguing story)
Fable [1996, Telstar] (Point & Click adventure with fantasy theme, very pretty, good atmosphere)
Future Cop: LAPD (3D Mech game with the best multiplayer in a game ever, which inspired Dota and League of Legends)
Kingdom: The Far Reaches (PC remake of the arcade adventure game Thayers Quest. Limited interactivity but amazing atmosphere)

Also a fantastic recommendation. I own it and I've beaten it in days gone by. Other than the final chapter, fantastic game.

The final chapter did suck! Glad that wasn't just me.

Life? Don't talk to me about life.

iM1A2 Abrams, although this one runs perfectly on Windows XP (but not Win 7).
M1 Tank Platoon 2.
Jane's Fighters Anthology.
Jane's F-15.
Jane's Longbow 2.
Jane's 688(i) Hunter/Killer.
Jane's Fleet Command.
Joint Strike Fighter.
Jetfighter III.
Jetfighter Full Burn.
MiG Alley.
Sabre Ace: Conflict Over Korea.
Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers.
Axis & Allies.
Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001.

Some of the titles above cannot run well --or at all-- on Win XP and above, so a Win 98 PC would be nice. In any case, I'd suggest you equip your PC with a Voodoo or Voodoo 2.

I'd love a Voodoo card, but sadly they are expensive as can be.

How about GeForce 4600Ti? They're not that expensive, and they're much better than GeForce 440MX.

Also, I believe I own Magic The Gathering from 1997, the one colloquially known as Shandalar. Is Duels of the Planeswalkers a better choice?

Isn't Shandalar the name of the realm used by the game Duels of the Planeswalker ?

I only found 2 listings for 4600TI cards on Ebay. One was going for 900+ and the other for 300+

1.) MS-DOS 6.22, Pentium 233mhz, 32mb RAM, S3 Trio64, Sound Blaster Pro 2
2.) Windows 98SE with Unofficial SP3, AMD Athlon 1.3ghz, 768mb RAM, Geforce 4 MX 440 64mb AGP, Sound Blaster Live! Value

Thank you for all the recommendations! Magic & Mayhem looks interesting and Future Cop sounds awesome, I'll definitely be looking into a few others you mentioned.

Oh man it was cringe-worthy, haha. But again, otherwise a brilliant game.
