I deided to install the Media Vision Pro Audio Studio 16 ISA sound card (with SCSI) into my Socket 370 build with success after changing the IRQ and DMA from PCI/ISA to ISA Legacy, works within the MS-DOS mode (F8 and command prompt only option), as well as the MS-DOS Prompt in Windows 98SE. However, within Windows, the sound output is way too fast, excluding the OPL2/OPL3 synthesizer as well as MS-DOS games.
I enabled the option to use the 28MHz Oscilator that's on the sound card to no avail. It worked (somewhat) in my Packard Bell Pack-Mate 28 Plus with some success (other sound card caused conflicts). What seems to be the issue here? I'm using the drivers from Microsoft after using the add new hardware option within the Control Panel program since the card is not Plug-n-Play capable.
