In the big haul I bought there was an ISA sound card with only the name "Terratec Profimedia" printed on it. No other identification marks, see the below pictures from the card.
I can only find one reference to what this card must be: http://home.hccnet.nl/s.v.nimwegen/Collection … dCollection.htm (4th card from the bottom)

Any idea what the exact model is and what drivers there are for this card? 😕
Perhaps if the model is known there might be a manual for this card?

It must be delivered with the daughterboard already installed since the sticker covers both..

Analog Devices Media Sound 2000 SB ISA sound card

I have NOT tried this: http://www.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=4573 (this says Windows 95.. what OS are you using, anyway?)

Apparently the wavetable on the card is only 1MB and the guy in the thread I linked didn't care for it, but I've never heard it so no idea personally.

Yes, I always ramble this much.

That is already great info, this card has multiple names then just like alot of other cards.
It seems he never got the exact drivers for this card so that will be a challange. I am planning to use it in my 486 dx build running either 33mhz or 40mhz but I wanted to find some info first on what exact the card is and where the drivers are.

Well I still have issues getting this card working.
I searched further and the only other info I found was:
https://archive.org/stream/powerplaymagazine- … 0_1993_djvu.txt (search for Midia sound)

I can't get any sound in DOS/W3.1
What can be the issue, I already tried the driver package but with no succes.

Hi,
try the attached driver for DOS and Win 3.x.
I think it worked with my card, but don't really remember.

Good luck!

OK thanks, I will try it (if work gets a bit more normal) either Wednesday or Saturday and hope it works with this set. 😀
