HEF4053BP datasheet. I guess they might be using those in conjunction with a six-resistor ladder as 6-Bit ADC/DACs? Which would make them a quarter the quality of a Covox Speech Thing. Nice.
No idea about the (not-a-)gameport. Maybe it came with an adapter or breakout cable?
Very interesting device. It uses a very high bandwidth triple opamp LT chip, and it only connects 4 data lines on ISA slot, which makes me think that big connector is for another essential but missing part of the puzzle...
