Okay I figured this out. The 3DFX Voodoo 1 doesn't work properly on chipsets after 440 LX (or 440 BX). I tried it on an Intel i820 motherboard with a Pentium III 1 Ghz and it just doesn't get read correctly on the PCI bus. I put the Voodoo 1 in an Intel 440 LX board with a Pentium II 266 and the card works perfectly in EF 2000 v2.0. I believe there is an issue with PCI compliancy here. It appears that the Voodoo 1 does not work properly with the PCI 2.2 spec. The 440 LX board is the last you can use it reliably on, possibly 440 BX, but I have not tried that one.

Yes i own a copy of EF2000 V2.0, and yes i run the game perfectly with no problem what so ever, i think it migh be your computer.

Yeah, thanks. Check out my post before yours. I have successfully run this game on an Intel 440 LX and 440 BX board with various Pentium II and III processors. But it does not work on Intel boards beyond 440BX, that includes i820 and i815 boards.

Took some trial and error on different machines, but the Voodoo 1 works perfect on my BX board.

Im glad you can run your game, its an awesome game, enjoy it, you should also try DID F22 TOTAL AIR WAR, to me the best sim so far.
