probably futile but did anyone ever attempt this just to get the game running on older machines+to get that certain look? supposedly this was removed in 1.1.0.1 and the disc i have is 1.1.0.8. i can run the game with -w 320 -h 240 -fullscreen but all that results in is the game using a part of the screen with scrambled VRAM contents around it, same for 512x384 selected from the menu. this is especially bizarre as the readme still mentions a mere p133+svga requirement which becomes a huge joke if the game can't be played below 640x480.
