Just built another old school gaming PC from an Intel AN430TX socket motherboard with a 100mhz Pentium I
What suprised me is that it had some Soundblaster compatible sound circuits called Yamaha OPL3-SA 3D and some Midi wavetable circuits called OPL4-ML
Never thought I'd find a mobo with all this yummy stuff on
Just tested Descent with the above setup, the General Midi soundtrack almost sounded as good as on my DB60XG, just a couple of notes that were a bit low
Seems like the card is SB Pro compatible, only option that gives sound when I try it
