Hello all --

I've got two DiabloTek Rage 128 Pro 32MB cards -- and neither of them will work in any computer older than (most likely) a Pentium 4. I've tried:

HP Vectra XM2 (486 DX4 100)
Compaq Deskpro 5166 (Pentium MMX 200)
IBM NetVista a40p (Pentium III 1Ghz)

It will boot in a core 2 duo machine. If I were a betting man I'd say that there are some SSE2 instructions in the BIOS that these come with? The BIOS on my card is labeled "VGA" -- but I've seen pictures of one that is labeled "Industry" -- and I bet that industry bios is meant to work in older machines.

Does anyone have one of these working in an older machine? I'd like to get a dump of the bios that I can flash which will work in a system that is useful. Everything I have that is new enough to run it has a PCI-E slot so there's no reason to use it. It really sucks that the sellers of these cards don't warn you that they have virtually no vintage support -- seeming as we would be pretty much the last customers for these cards. eBayer beware I suppose.

Thanks
