Saw this a couple of weeks ago on FreeDOS.
It's an emulator of the PC programmed with Java that you use over the internet.

It's supposed to be the successor of dosbox:

Cute. But still at early development stage. Competition is good.
Intel i7 5960X
Gigabye GA-X99-Gaming 5
8 GB DDR4 (2100)
8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)
Another Java based PC emulator -> http://www.physics.ox.ac.uk/jpc/index.html
Pretty cool what these people get up to 😀
Can't type a : in that thing, but the booting looks nice 😀
Weird, I don't have any issues typing a ':' into the emulator.
Neither do I. Non-English keyboard, maybe?
The demo includes a few games. I don't know the status of Invaders, Kong, or Pacmania but I am pretty sure that neither Commander Keen, nor Lemmings, nor Prince of Persia is freeware... sigh...
The emulator is quite slow which is understandable. Lemmings runs with bad palette glitches, especially in the menu.
Oxford guys don't care much about non-english keyboards i guess...
They seem to need recompilation already for realmode stuff,
and as vasyl said the vga precision might be kept quite down
for speed reasons.
But it's really nice to see something like that running in pure java 😀
