I'm trying to install The Secret Island of Doctor Quandary on my laptop. The problem is, my laptop has NO floppy drive. So what i did was convert the disks to ima files using an older desktop i have. Now i know how to mount the images in dosbox, i did that successfully with disk1 and the install ran beautifully! Then it asked for disk 2 (of 3)..... It requires that the disk be in the same drive as well so mounting to other drives is out of the question. I thought maybe i can find software to mount the IMAs in windows then mount that virtual drive in dosbox and do the switching on the windows side, but i could not find any programs that would mount floppy images, just CDs.

so basically, is there any way to switch the images in dosbox WHILE in the install? if not, what can i do?

just some general info:
-i tried just putting the contents of the disks in one folder, mounting it, and installing, but it needs these disk id files for disk verification and it wont recognize them when being loaded from a folder.
-the game will NOT install to the same drive that its pulling the install info from. so i had to keep the disk images on a thumb drive to install (thinking back i might have been able to mount c:\ and the images to a different folder, but thats neither here nor there)
