So I have this children game that is created using Macromedia Director v4 which is a 16-bit executable. Does anyone know if there exists a wrapper or any other method to play these type of games natively under Windows 10 64-bit?

Windows NT support was added in v5 of Director and those play fine on Windows 10 (as long as you use 256 colors and 640x480 under compatibility settings).

As of now I've used DosBox with Win 3.1 to get these games running, but other types of virtualization will ofc also work.

Cheers for the suggestions. WineVDM looks promising, but I need to look more into how to load DLL's required by the game that is supposed to be in the Windows directory. Maybe (hopefully) they can also be in the same folder as the executable.
