Does the "plain" ET4000 even exist, or are all of them ET4000AX?

I don't know about plain ET4000, but there were ET4000C - Re: Bought these (retro) hardware today
It's from 9002 - which probably predates all AX chips, one of the earliest being from 9009 - Re: ET4000AX variants

Nie tylko, jak widzicie, w tym trudność, że nie zdołacie wejść na moją górę, lecz i w tym, że ja do was cały zejść nie mogę, gdyż schodząc, gubię po drodze to, co miałem donieść.

Hi, I hope this is a good thread to post this question.

I have this Micro-Labs UV2.1 ET4000AX ISA card and was wondering what is the power draw for it?

I have a couple of these cards myself. I haven't really done anything with them but I'd love to know more about them if anyone has any info. Especially the big-ass VIGAVGA+ card.

Power draw for one of these cards varies by the number of chips and the chips they use.
While I don't have exact figures, I'd imagine that the more modern cards that use 256Kx16 SOJ DRAMs will possibly use a little less power than older cards which use up to 8 or more DIP DRAMs.
The RAMDAC used can also be a significant power gobbler too.

Life isn't long enough to re-enable every hidden option in every BIOS on every board... 🙁

I got this et4000ax for the ega output, but a lot of stuff is messing up on it. Especially ega in apogee and id games. Catacomb 3d has like 2 colors in the 3d window. Keen4 has black boxes around sprites and checker board flashing when scrolled to vertical limits. I did back up the bios roms, but nothing out there like it from what i can see. Nothing describing the jumpers or dips either. 4 pin dip and 4 other populated jumpers. Lots of unpopulated ones.

It's 8925 REV A
Sticker says TP9110897
Bios internal date is 6-13-90
