I I thought this would be of interest for the people in here. I have made a 24 episode Christmas calendar where I present a new old Dos system from my collection each day. The focus is about hardware and what PC it is, and in every episode, we try to turn it on (Don’t take it apart, turn it on). If you want to visit the link to my channel is : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCclERYiH_NU9Ja78ToLoH-g

Regards KOJRO.

I've watched most of them now. Good stuff, but I think you've got a lot of work on your hands repairing all those non working systems

There's a trick for that, you pick the one that seems worst, work on it in front of the others, guts spread all over with the most medieval looking soldering iron you've got... it will scare at least half the rest into working.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

Thanks for Watching ! Yes I Know, and this is less than half the systems I'v got. The problem is that as these systems have accumulated over the years, as a dad with small kids, there just is not enough time.. I will prioritize the systems that are rare, and that I can fix without them braking down again in a year.. The systems with plasma screens I think will be a loosing battle over the years.

Thanks for Watching ! Yes that might do the trick.. I have a very medieval looking soldering iron.. One I inherited from my old grandpa. It’s about the same size as a small sledge hammer, and a bit heavier… It was used to solder old copper water boilers…
