That still does not work. I cannot get soundblaster/adlib sounds working. I can get adlib/soundblaster sounds working on keen 6 though. I can get the soundblaster/adlib sounds working on the non cga keen 4.

What exactly is keen4cga? Is it a different version, or did you set
machine=cga in dosbox.conf?

The site is anti warez/abandonware. Keen 4cga is a different version of commander keen 4 with the same levels. It is in cga. You can downlad keen dreams, keen 6 demo, keen 1 and keen 4 and keen 4 cga. Their is many fan made keen games at the site. www.keengrid.net has a fan made keen game that is a sequel to keen 6. It is a keen 4 mod. The only thing you have to remember about the mod is to run the file called keen 7. In almost every keen mod you must load up the batch file. I have some keen 1 and 4 mods that are very good. I have a keen 4 mod where keen wears a red shirt. I have keen 1 and 4 mods.

keen 4,keen 4 cga,keen 1 and keen dreams andkeen 6 demo are not mods. Their is a promotional release of commander keen 6 and demo version of keen 6 that are almost the same. The demo and promotional versions have the same levels.Their just some small differences.

I havekeen 4 cga 1.4 with dosbox and it does not show the soundblaster highlighted. I can't get soundblaster sounds working.

Edit: I figured out how to get the soundblaster sounds working.

I don't know what happened but the soundblaster sounds were not working. I found out why. My sound card was not in the machine.

Hm yes that'd hurt sb emulation as well 😀
