Hello everyone,
I have an Olivetti Desktop PC, in particular the M4 464 S Modulo.
The general specs are:
CPU Intel 486 DX4 100 MHz
RAM 16 MB
ON BOARD GRAPHICS CIRUS LOGIG CL-GD5428 with 1MB Video Ram
On the manual it says that the Video RAM can be expanded via an on board Slot up to 2 MB Video Ram.
It features a slot near the GPU chip which looks like a smaller COASt Module Slot (the ones we used to add Cash on motherboards).
Any ideas how to find such an Expansion Video Ram Module or how to search it on the Web?
Bellow is the Computers data Sheet, it is the ENHANCED BOARD

Do you really positively absolutely need two additional interlaced modes this ram expansion will enable?

Yeah! It would be good to see better color depth and resolution with Windows 95 on my 17" Monitor. One extra MB will Help 😀

Since the system offers this upgrade possibility, it would be good to do it. However I cannot find anything online, maybe I use wrong key words!?

Interlaced. As in; half the lines on the screen are drawn in one cycle, and then the other half are drawn the next.

Typically you end up with an effective refresh rate of circa 40-47hz, ie flickery. It is extremely unpleasant to look at on a crt screen for any length of time and would be completely incompatible with a modern LCD.
