Read it and weep. Oh you don't love FARTRAN do you? You really ought to. I balked on a purchase of MS F* 5.1 back in 1990 at a liquidation sale, and I'm still not right. I know nothing about this variant, only that it works with dos, win3.1, nt (even 4 maybe).

It hurts me that most people really don't get what's cool. More for me is my sole consolation.

I just remember taking a FORTRAN-77 class back in.. the late 90s. Apparently it's good at solving math problems, but too primitive to support math characters like "<" and "=".
Great for NASA and whoever else used ancient computers as glorified calculators.
I can't say it got onto my list of cool things to come back to.

I would genuinely like to fiddle around with Borland C++ 3.1 again, though.

I took it as an elective in high school, 83-84, paper terminals. Again as engineering computations, ibm mini, wat-iv or wat-v.
