hello. last time i wrote english was 1995 - so please be patient...

i intend to play harvester with mounted iso images using deamon tools 4.03 - but this does not work.
i renounce to inform you about my cpu hardware because the game runs with burned cdroms.
but because the game is always loading while playing i want to use mounted images.
the error message looks like this "error![id:04c5]"

my autoexec ....
mount c c:\spiele
mount g g:\ -t cdrom ( Daemon Tools Drive)

the number of my virtual deamon tools drive is 2. i also tried the following....

mount g g:\ -t cdrom -usecd 2
the same with -ioctl and - aspi all without success!

using my regular cdrom drive with mount F F:\ -t crdom - the game works.

using the virtual drive G ( which is found by dosbox and which shows me the directory and the files of the iso images) does not run.

before the error message appears a window is shortly flashing an then closing ( i think dosbox tries to run the game) but then appears the error message although the drive g is properly mounted!?

need help

man - jetzt bin ich ziemlich fertig nach dem englisch exkurs und muss mich etwas zur ruhe betten 😀

try:
mount d g:\ -t cdrom -ioctl

ps. why don't you upgrade daemon tools to new 4.09 ver?

Latest Daemon Tools version is 4.09.01 (bugfix release).

Why don't you try imgmount inside DOSBox?

Intel i7 5960X
Gigabye GA-X99-Gaming 5
8 GB DDR4 (2100)
8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)

readme?

Also try "mount -cd" to see the cdrom mapping, suppose you have
to use -usecd 1 in your configuration.

the cdrom mapping for the virtual drive g: is "2"

mount D G:\ -t cdrom -usecd 2 -ioctl --> does not work

anywhere in the web i read that dosbox has problems with images larger than 500 MB ? dont know if its true ....

- but thx for your answers. i´ll play harvest with burned cdroms - some problems do not want to be solved...

Disk images are limited to 512mb, not cd images.
