Hello everyone
I need an optimal driver for the Opti 82C929A card. The driver that I found on the forum supposedly works, however, in the Lion King game it is like a very accelerated sound.
Thank you in advance

what do you mean "accelerated" ? Does sound play to fast ? What OS are you using ?
in 2001 the drivers are dated early 1997 for the Opti929: http://web.archive.org/web/20010603043556/htt … ml/drivers.html and are v2.50 from what I can gather.
Will upload the DOS v2.50, Win95 DOS v2.5+ Win95 v4.00 versions which are the last from Opti themself AFAIK... here: http://www.vogonsdrivers.com/index.php?catid=1&menustate=0,0
Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
I am sorry I did not provide any details.
So yes, yesterday I sat on the problem, I tested the hardware on several computers, everywhere I tested on MS-DOS 6.22
Address 220, IRQ 5 (I also checked 7), DMA 1,
The problem I wrote about occurred on the AMD K7 800MHz computer, the sound was very fast.
I switched the card to a computer with Pentium II 350 MHz and everything was fine, it worked without any problems.
I was already happy and put a computer with Pentium 1 133MHz together for a spider (target platform, I don't have a housing yet, so I haven't tested it from the beginning). Again, the problem is that not all tracks are playing correctly (as in the attachment)
