Hi everyone,

I've got an odd question, maybe you can help me to find an answer.:
I wonder if there ever was a 3D demo or sample program for Windows 3.1x which made use of the Voodoo graphics accelerator or Glide.ovl.

Not a playable game, of course. Just a tech demo or something similar.

Because I'm curious, if Windows 95 was the only platform it supported, aside from DOS (or Mac).

Thanks in advance,
Jo22

If that thread is true then there was some support for 3.1

http://falconfly.vogonswiki.com/voodoo3.html there are driver here that should work with a Voodoo 3.
http://falconfly.vogonswiki.com/velocity.html Also Velocity 3.1 drivers

Now I dont know if these actually allow Glide support or if its just 2D but I suspect that the Glide part would just use the DOS drivers and run the demo as if its a DOS executable, not at all sure that 3.1 even had enough kernel support to allow games to directly use the hardware like Win9X does.
