I'm building a game that will come on its own dedicated hardware. The specific reason isn't important...i just want to. Among other things it will need a touch screen (about 10"). At first i thought about a raspberry pi + some touchscreen component. Then i looked at industrial tablets with built-in single board computers, such as this one.

I rejected those because the hardware is too limited. My game is made with Godot and while it runs on the raspi, the framerate isn't great, and i'm limited to OpenGLES 2. I'm sure it would be no better on the Faytech. I think my best bet is to just buy an off-the-shelf consumer tablet. For the price of the Faytech i could get a Surface Go, flash it with linux, and run my game on startup via xinitrc. Any other tablets that might work better?
