I've recently upgraded from DOSBox 0.65 to 0.70, and have wanted to play Sword of the Samurai again. However, since upgrading to the newest DOSBox, all attempts to run the game results in DOSBox returning the error "CPU:GRP5:Illegal Call 7" with cpu=normal, and the error "DynCore: Illegal option in opcode 0xff" with cpu=dynamic. So far I've tried changing the cycles down to 500, changing the memsize to 8 (which resulted in the CLI hanging), and changing to cpu=simple, all to no luck.

Try reinstalling the game, and configure it differently (no sound, mcga,
something like that). Also try using loadfix.
