Essentially you buy 2 good, 1 decent and 1 shitty game for 40 or 2 good and 1 decent for 30.
Or wait for a discount and get for something like 6€ the 3 at least decent ones.

Battlefront another, price is up currently, but graph shows big drop regularly so if you wanted that it wouldn't be long to wait for a price drop without this discount, another don't bother situation.

So Bioshock 2 Remastered almost works with the below but a popup will appear stating to use the epic launcher and the game screen is frozen. Currently no epic emulators are supported for this game.

This appears to work:
Bioshock2HD.exe from steam release
steam_appid.txt from steam release
BakedScripts folder from steam release

It's possible comparing the bakedscripts files between steam and epic releases may come up with something better. Possibly above command and a replaced or modified bakedscripts file.

It's also likely that someone could use the GOG versions of these games to fix the epic releases. I can't test since I don't own these games on GOG.

Bioshock Infinite appeared to work with Nemirtinga's Epic Emu but when you go to start a game it attempts to connect to 2k and errors out.

Steam files and LumaEmu w/ Lumaemu ceg don't seem to help here. It appears that the Epic Bioshock Infinite version is a new compile since the content version.txt is updated and the data files are larger. I checked the current steam release and it's still the same 2013 ver so thanks for nothing 2k.

GOG release may be the solution here since that is possibly the same version.

Bioshock 1 Remastered behavior is the same as Bioshock 2 remastered, replacing the same files for steam results in it working.

Is BS2 remastered playable? The Steam version crashed to desktop every couple minutes. Completely unplayable. Searching for the issue reveals that apparently it's just how it is on modern systems and nobody bothered fixing it. But they still sell it...

I wonder how people do walkthroughs then with it. Maybe 2K didn't optimize every Hw for the game, but they ain't R* so there's no other option.

Use the Doom 3 executable from the 1.31 update and the CD keys for Doom 3 and ROE from steam if you want a steamless Doom 3. Ports should work as well.

Yeah there was recently a consolidation of the id store pages, which means any extra DLC you didn't buy for them then are granted to you for free (and for further purchases), and the enhanced rereleases were also merged. In a way it's a drop of old activision cruft (i.e. the constant $20 Q3 pricing with TA included)
