Hey, don't post NSFW pics 🙁

Damn... boxed... how much did you pay?

Sorry I'll try to be more G rated next time 😄

I didn't pay a super crazy amount and got a pretty reasonable deal , its was about 58 AUD for the card and shipping was more than the card at 63 AUD.

Between FCC ID (J4EM101), and this link -https://tldp.org/HOWTO/html_single/BTTV/ - suggests its an "AVerMedia AVer FunTV Lite (ISA, AV3001 chipset) M101.C"

This is the only download I can find atm (also listed online as averfun.zip)

d58730.zip

Cool thanks very much 🙂

BTW. is it only me or did all drivers for the old Satellites disappear from the DynaBook-website? Two days ago I downloaded Win2K-drivers for the 4000CDT and now it says 'No drivers available'

Thanks for pointing out that the drivers are falling off of the Dynabook site, I see that they are indeed disappearing

Drivers are back again on dynabook.com !

I got myself a TV tuner. I never had one and was always interested in them. The card looks good, but some of the accessories are missing.

Also a coworker threatened me that if I won't take it, it's next home will be a landfill.

That case is a beauty! Should be a great home for a retro DOS/98 machine of some sort.

What a glorious case. I hope you can find a good use for it, or a new home. It's a wonderful-looking AT case with lots of room for expansion. Something like that would be a good candidate for a LAPC-I, or other very long ISA card.

My turn. I found this today a Goodwill. It's a brand new in box Antec SOHO CS600B "Dragon" case, which I believe was also sold by Chieftech. It's too bad that it isn't in the neon green color. That would have been extra cool.

There are no hard drive trays per se, but the entire hard drive bays are detachable. It's all very roomy and is a lovely thing to work in.

I had that exact case as a teenager for my first Pentium 4 build. LOTS of memories. it was a perfect case for the time period.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I used that as a case for my main desktop a long time ago. Best airflow in the world and all-around sturdy.

Bought this Quadro FX 1100. Seller said it was brand new, despite not having the original box. If it was ever used, it's almost impossible to tell. Subtle marks on the edge connector that might have been from use or the factory. The cooler is in perfect condition.

I bought it just for the cooler, as it was a good price. I'll be passing the card on to the next buyer. Hopefully I will at least break even.

The marketing department wasn't kidding picking the name "Silencer". I can't hear it at all, even if I put my heart right next to it. I think that this will pair well with an FX 5900 or 5950.

Bought this Abit BE6-II Raid board with a Abit Slotket III, Paid more than I would normally but the Slotket III is stupidly expensive on its own so this deal was less than what the Slotket goes for by itself. I have a nice Tualeron 1300 Im going to throw in the Slotket till I can get another 1400s then itll be replacing the slot 1 P3 I have.

I may be wrong, but as far as I know this Slotket does not support Tualatin-CPUs. So why is it expensive?

Plenty of reports of this Slotket happily running Tualerons, the bigger question is will it run a Tualatin 1.4s ..I dont know since I cant find any reports of one running a 1.4s, there are a few posts about people doing mods to the slotket to get it to run CPUs it was never intended to run, even a few simple wire mods. The BE6-II supports the right voltages and bus speeds as does the Slotket, so I guess I will find out when it arrives but there is plenty of modding info out there. Worst comes to worst I have a bunch of different P3 CPUs and even a few non -s Tualatins all above 1ghz to test with.

As to why the Abit Slotket III is expensive .. likely due to rarity, the two ive seen listed sold for silly amounts.

This Slotket business is new to me but I like to tinker and mod things so this will give me a project to tinker with.

You can use a Slocket that is not specifically for Tualatin CPUs so long as it has the correct voltage jumpers and the motherboard has a supported PWM controller. If the PWM controller is unsupported, you need a different Tualatin adapter that can adjust the voltage on the slocket. This still taxes the VRMs on the motherboard, possibly causing them to fail early, if they are not appropriately cooled.

This is my experience, having used a variety of slockets on different boards over the years.

BE6-II supports 1.3v to 3.5v and 66 to 200Mhz FSB, the Slotket also supports a huge range of voltages so perhaps itll work fine with a 1.3 Tualeron, I found that Korean seller on eBay that sells modded Tualatins so I can always grab one of them and shove that on the Slotket.

Not sure if the BE6-II will boot with an unknown CPU if it cant figure out the Tualeron/Tualatin but im looking for a modded BIOS just in case.

Seller did say that caps have been replaced on the board so that will help with the VRM and Ill find a way to get some extra cooling to it too.

Got a box, full with computer stuff, for 5$. There are some DDR2/DDR3 ECC RAMs, SCSI adapter, AGP video card, TV tuner, PCMCIA cards, but the most interesting thing is PCI video card with ProMotion 3210 chip.
There is no many info for that card, do you know is it good or bad one?
