Help with Comanche Max Overkill

Hi, I really would like to get Comanche Max Overkill to work but it crashes just after the splash screen saying that the file "tpic.dta" is missing or corrupt. Any ideas? I'm running XP btw.

Also, is there anything I need to watch out for in terms of XMS and EMS? I've disabled them in the config file and it still crashes just after the splash screen.

Did you install the game within dosbox? Is it a cdrom game?

Yeah, I installed it in the folder "c:\oldgames" and mounted it and everything. You mean I have to intall the game from doxbox? And yes I intalled it from the cd, it's just one install file, should I copy onto harddrive and install from there?
