Here a piece of my heart ( it was my first x86 machine when i was child ), just finished. A pure MS-Dos machine.
Cyrix 486dx2 66 mhz on an ABIT AB-PB4 rev 1.3
8 MB Ram
Hdd 6gb ( where i've made 2 partitions )
CD-R 32x
S3Virge DX 375 4MB ( but probably i'll mount a Cirrus Logic to make it more period correct )
Ymf 719s
A-trend ATC-3011 8-bit ISA I/O card ( which works like a charm, but probably i'll replace it with a Goldstar Magic AT to be more "confortable" )
And, the icing on the cake, a Roland mt-32 ver 1 ( it isn't showed in the photo, but was already tested. I've also a CM-64, SC-55 and a SC-88 ).
Soon i'll post my second one, an athlon xp barton 2800+ on a kt133a epox build which covers all the ages starting from msdos ( thank you throttle ) to WinXP first era 😉
Last but not least, i'll work on my third and last project: a PII klamath 300 mhz which i'll turn in an all-round machine mounting simultaneously a matrox millenium g200, a 3dfx Voodoo1 and V2, an S3 Virge DX 4MB, a Sb Vibra ct-2800, an MPU-401 ISA card and a Classic GUS rev 3.74 1MB.
