I have an HP T5710 Thin Client. I couldn't find an adequate DOM replacement for the 256 meg flash that was on there, so I opted for a 2.5inch 44 pin ide cable and a male ide to female sata adapter so I can use a 120gb sata hard drive. Bios shows the hard disk as 120gb. So were good there. I put easy2boot on a usb through a tutorial and successfully installed windows 98 se on the device. Here's the issue:
If I use the ATA Flash option as my primary boot device, it gives me a invalid system disk message. But I can then boot up using easy2boot on a flash drive and then from the main menu, selecting boot from hdd00, which is the attached sata drive and it boots flawlessly into windows 98se.
Does anyone know why it causes an invalid system disk message when initially booting up and how to fix it?
Thanks
