Hi All, I am happy to announce the 4.0c release of my MS-DOS VE text editor. VE is a lean, powerful and feature rich text editor, with a history dating all the way back to 1984. Think vi power, but smaller, faster and more friendly to use. You can download VE from www.inverary.net/ve.

The VE web site is vintage browser friendly, and will work well with any vintage browser that supports HTML 3.0 and above. It has been successfully tested with Arachne running under MS-DOS 6.2, Netscape Navigator 3.0 and Internet Explorer 5.0, both running under WFWG 3.11, and iCab 2.99 and Internet Explorer 4.0, both running under Mac OS 8.1.

If you experience any issues with the VE web site, downloading VE, or with the editor itself, please post back!

Many thanks for your editor, particularly the new 32-bit DJGPP compile for DOS. I had never heard of this editor before, and am very glad you've kept the fires going since 1984!
