hey, if we forget about the fact that emulation is restricted by (mostly) your CPU, what would i be looking at cycle wise as a minimum to getting this game to run smooth with high quality audio?

at the moment my P4 3.0ghz with HT can get ok (but not perfect) sound at about 35,000 cycles, and can achieve perfect sound at the low quality audio.

im asking, because any time this week, im getting a Core 2 DUO E6750 CPU and a new motherboard 😉 and im also just curios at what makes (why) the game so taxing.

dynamic core and i use yhkwongs unofficial builds, however, if i were to use a official dosbox build then what would i be looking at?
