I ma rewriting everything to avoid opening yet another post.

Initial issue was the board not posting anymore after some modifications, partial recap, soldering some missing headers...
Issue was unusual: without a keyboard plugged the POST process would hang after the first 3 steps, codes dd-d0-14 (14 means keyboard test present/missing).
I think there is still some issue there as it should post and go on to an error message before boot attempt. ISSUE SOLVED for the time being

I'm going to make an image of the BIOS, as Intel's upgrade floppy disk has it split on 6 64kb files.

I found that the board comes with two USB 2.0 ports not connected to +5V, by design, missing a fuse and a couple of NPN or PNP.
I'll have to find what they are from other users as I can(t figure it out by pics.

Thanks

This board is the original Intel, I have one tailored for IBM (same everything except a connector present for its special front panel).

Without the keyboard the POST process hangs without beep codes, as supposed and documented in the manual.

In the POST card analyzer code 14 refers to keyboard test passed/missing, or waiting for Intel 8254 to clear.

No idea why the keyboard plugged in or not is essential to a successful POST sequence.

Some components are missing,

- one fuse (X15)
- what I thought were NPN, in fact I think some filters maybe
- one cap

I can't locatea picture with a high definition enough to figure out these.

One pic comes from Ultimate Retro and belongs to Carlos, if need be for removal just PM me.
