Attached a picture and cannot tell if this is an Audigy 2 ZS or normal Audigy 2, it has the SB0350 model number but the ZS at the end of the Audigy 2 label is oddly missing, what could be going on here?

There are a bunch of used-with-no-packaging Audigy 2/Audigy 2 ZS cards for sale that look exactly like that. I can't say if it's legit or not, but that is NOT how that model number is supposed to look, as it was sold in retail. It may be an Asian or European variant.

Another thing to note is that it doesn't have golden plated ports yet a majority of 2 ZS cards I see online usually do

I think this is Dell's Audigy 2 (OEM) version, simply with Audigy 2 ZS PCB number (instead of the usual/correct SB0353).

tipicaly, ZS from Creative have gold plated connector.
It`s look like DELL/HP card.
Card may have custom dev_id, and not compatible whit standard Creative driver from site, may work only whith custom driver from DELL/HP
