I was offered some mobos that have an infinite-like symbol on the northbridge's heatsink.

I wasn't able to id the manufacturer, but from pics it doesn't look like quality.

They are all Slot1 with P-III 500 cpus on them.

Thanks!!

Exactly! Thanks a lot!!

I could identify the boards:
2x 440BX
3x VIA (66-133mhz)

Seller doesn't know if the 3 with a cpu work (swollen caps - well, means nothing but cosmetically perfect), the others are too damaged to even attempt a repair.
I couldn't find them on RetroWeb, strange. Now it's even TMI from it 😀

What's written on the BIOS chips?

For example, on the pic that can be found on this page on the left side (you may need to scroll down the black and white schematics to see the picture), zoom in and look at the BIOS chip. For example on the 6BTM it's the first thing written on the BIOS chip (where it sais 6BTM0).
That's usually how to most quickly identify slot 1 Chaintech boards.

The infinite-like symbol is I think a chain link, the brand being chaintech and such 😜

Also that particular AGP symbol always reminds me of Chaintech boards of that era right away, though I can't remember if contemporary boards from other manufacturers also use that same symbol.

At the time I ended up really liking these boards, especially the 6BTM

I found all the boards specifying the brand.
Search by connectors and others didn't yield Chiantech. The site is gold, I can't be happier to use it, they did a very good job!

Boards are:
https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/chaintech-ct-6btml // 6BTML-E100N
https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/chaintech-ct-6ata2 // sticker 6ATA2-E100A
https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/chaintech-ct-6bta2 // 6BTA2-E100A

I was able to read the stickers after finding the boards on RetroWeb, otherwise they are blurry.

Are they worth it? I don't know if they are good or just a PCChips quality brand.
Should I make an offer?

I'd say Chaintech is better than PC-Chips, but one board being good doesn't guarantee the same for the next board.

I don't know what the going rate is for these boards nowadays.

Iirc not all 6BTM boards supported Coppermine though.
