Does anybody know a source of 168pin DIMM sockets? I have a board with two broken ones. I found these on RS-UK which would work but RS is very dear unless you buy £50! 😀

Are the white side tabs broken? Those can be replaced separately (can get them from a dead motherboard), you don't have to replace the whole socket.
No unfortunately the end of the connectors is broken and missing.
I've found someone with some very broken boards who is willing to sell them to me for spares - but if someone has hints on where to get brand new spares, that would be great.

That´s not necessarily a barrier. I once had items for a total of $ 400 + in my shopping cart at Peconnectors just to learn they wont´s ship outside the US at checkout.
It´s a pity because they offer many parts that you can´t order anywhere else.
