There's a slight difference in the sound, the one on the left is a little smoother, but I don't think anyone cares.
Maybe im not looking hard enough... but where is the difference to make them sound different?

No, but the materials are a little different.
When tapping the PCBs or power cords with your fingers, their timbre is a little different
