Is it possible to get herzes higher then 60 in some dos games? I would really like to play Nethack dos version with tiles. Don't suggest the windows version, i don't like it.

My computer:

Windows xp professional + sp1
Geforce 4 ti 4200 128mb
Detonator 42.70
used Reforce to correct Hzs in windows games.

Doesn't the Windows ver support the same graphics as the DOS er now? I seem to remember them updating it awhile back....gonna go check.

Doesn't really help with dos games, they tweak the vga modes and ussually end up with 60 hz if it's some 240/480 line mode.

Run it on an LCD monitor so it's always at 60Hz refresh no matter what? 😉
Seriously dude, there is no way to change DOS refresh rates, especially anything that doesn't use VESA, and even then it's quirky and a pain in the ass to do.
