Today's shopping proved rather nice.
Very nice catch. May I ask where you are able to get all this awesome gear? In Australia, Queensland it’s illegal to sell any electrical equipment at recycle centers so everything goes to the dump 🙁
Classifieds, and in case of the 486 it was the same seller as the 694D Pro - we messaged back and forth on WhatsApp regarding the 694D and he happened to have the 486 for sale and a IBM 300GL as well.
The trick is that I usually try to be as fast as I can before someone else snipes it.
Similarly, the BP6 I own came from a former collector (who claimed to have had a Bull Micral 60 at one point as well) who has had to sell his stuff as his wife recently had twins, and the bunch of cards (among which I got a 2nd Adaptec 2940UW) were someone who had to clear his garage.

I recently picked up these jewels for the back of the closet:
Quadro 700XGL (Ti4400 clocks except w/64MB) (x2) on the left
Ti4600 (x2) on the right
Can you guess which one of the cards doesn't (completely) work? Boot and 2D work but loaded driver results in black screen. It will be sent off for repairs in hopes it will become fully operational.
One was pulled from a working environment and stored in a cool dry place but untested.
One was guaranteed no DOA.
One was shipped like absolute crap... crap! Hall of fame laziness. See photo.
One was fully refunded by the seller and didn't want the card returned (great seller!)
One has 7+SMDs knocked off of the back.
Three of the four were completely untested.
Three of the four work beautifully.
One of the four were no returns.
One of the four were no returns except if DOA.
I wanna say the Leadtek - I know of at least one card similar to that that does weird stuff similar to what you're saying, for sale over here in Romania. Although the twist to that one is that it'll only do it once, and if you restart the PC, it works but at half the memory that's installed on it (64MB instead of 128MB)
