I just ordered a Compaq ASPEN2 board. Does anyone know if I can flash the ASPEN2 board with the FIC SD11 BIOS?

Theoretically yes you can. Do you have a eeprom programmer like TL866 ? That is the only way I would try to flash the bios chip AFTER I saved the current bios using TL866 to both save and program.....

The bios chip on the ASPEN2 is square. The eeprom adapters in the kit have pins on 2 sides.

You use a PLCC 32 to DIP 32 adapter for PLCC 29f002 eeprom (and is rectangular not square 😁 ), my TL866 came with a few adapters including the one needed....
