It should be easy, but it isnt..
Maybe i have over looked something.

Dont know how to set Date / Time (because it cant) ( do i need an Utility / tool for it?)

And does it have a 47 user CHS hdd setting that can set by the user.

What i can see is that Typ1 till 41 is pre-configured.. Probably for MFM / RLL drives..

After Type 41 till Type 47 everything is left empty..

If it doesnt have a 47 user setting, is there a award bios version that has one? So no, probably a phoenix version with 47 user settings?

Do i also need a tool to set Type 41 / type 47 when its blank in the bios?

~ At least it can do black and white~

I had that, you NEED to have a battery connected.

PC#1 Pentium 233 MMX - 98SE
PC#2 PIII-1Ghz - 98SE/W2K

In my case I couldn't modify anything, not even highlight menus.
With a battery always connected I could access and modify like I'd normally do with any other BIOS.

It was a 386 board. As some other users always say, "plug a battery as sometimes it is needed to POST, BOOT or use the BIOS".
This is one such case. Maybe it is yours too.

ok thanks for your reply.

I think I wrote something about it here, look for ACER I333A.
My notes:

no battery = no modify parameters; BIOS freezes sometimes and hard reset is necessary.
Battery = 100% OK like usual
