That screams memory issues. It would be odd for it go from fully functional to this sort of state just getting unseated and moved to a new system but it is almost 30 year old hardware so anything can happen.
Looks like some of the VRAM got fried during the move...
not fried, brittle solder under one of the pins let go, typical 3dfx issue
Well, after checking any broken connection with a microscope and seeing no issue, i installed the latest official driver from 3dfx for the V2, now everything works.
Why do i always solve things in the weirdest way?

v2-w9x-3.01.00 and v2-w9x-3.01.01 gave me issues, i solved with voodoo2-30202.
