I thought I'd try my luck and ask if anyone has seen this Multi IO card (ADD2 DW729) before. All the interfaces are working except for the second IDE interface (IDE1). I'm guessing it's just a jumper configuration issue but I can't find any info on this card.

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Wow amazing. Had no idea a tool for this card existed. Thank you!

I managed to get a second hard drive working on the second IDE port, however it wont work with CDROMs. I'm going to try the CDROM in the first IDE port and see if that works.

Really hope it's not a case of the card only working with hard drives.

Nice ! Am curious which VLB motherboard you are using.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

So it appears the motherboard does not support CDROMs, therefore the Multi IO card will not support CDROMs. Next best option is to get a sound card with a CDROM interface.

Found this in a box. Do you think a CDROM would work with it?
