StriderTR wrote on 2024-03-23, 19:31:I ran into an issue recently where I had found and bought some sticks of RAM labeled as PC133 SDRAM, but they had RAMBUS style metal heat-spreaders on them. I assumed they were just added for cosmetics since extra heat dissipation is not needed on PC133 SDRAM. Either way, I thought they looked cool.
I did a LOT of searching around trying to find out who made these things, with no definitive findings. I can't get these sticks to work in anything I have so I'm not sure they're even any good. Again, the logo looks familiar, like other brands I know, but nothing matches exactly that I can find.
I just wanted to know their story. 😀
Company name is Celetronix (defunct now so check Wayback for info)

That would be it!
Thanks!
I went down the wrong rabbit-hole getting hung up on that logo and assuming it was an "M". That, and I couldn't see why anyone would put heatsinks on PC133.
Now I can update my blog post looking for help identifying them. 😜
