The 3 body problems cannot be solved, neither for future quantum computers, even for the remainder of the universe. The Proton 2D is circling a planet and stepping back to the quantum size in 11 dimensions.

Following the tests, here are the results for the Geforce FX 5200 64 bit with 128MB DDR VRAM bus from EVGA. I have to say that I found the 2D quality of this card very crisp 😀

The following are the results for the Geforce 4 MX 440 128MB AGP8X 128bit. As with the other tests, v-sync is turned off in the driver.

Maybe the only remarkable thing about this card, besides that only 64MB got recognized during the tests with a 64bit bus 🙁 (maybe it has to do with the motherboard only being AGP4x, faulty contact between the card and the AGP slot, etc) , is that when putting new thermal paste, I noticed the chip is labeled as an engineering sample. 😀

I will try to test it again later and post the results if something changes.

I apologize for the weird moire pattern. Got to dig out a CRT monitor
Pretty happy with this scoreIMG_20240511_211311614_HDR.jpg

Very good score, and nice setup with the PIII, 440BX and Voodoo 3.

I have a 440ZX (very small board) and hope to bring it back to life as soon as time permits. 😀

Sorry for the offtopic, are you able to use older dll's with it (like 45.23)?

Best regards

Here are the test results for the ATi Radeon 9250 with 256MB VRAM and a 128bit bus. (without the stock fan). One of my favorite cards for a mid end Windows 98 setup. (although these results are in Windows XP) 😀

Here are the test results for the PCI 3dFX Voodoo 3 3000 with 16MB VRAM. My only 3dFX card which I got about 3 years ago for 10 bucks at a local used PC parts store. I always wanted one since a teenager but could never afford it. 😀

Congratulations, an iconic retro card, I also hurt my teeth on it, but only 2000 reached . The Voodoo2Sli https://hwbot.org/submission/5524644_ world record compensates somewhat.

Thanks for the link, those results are pretty impressive! 😀

Quick bencmark results with 0 overclock:
AMD K6-2 plus 400MHz + ATi RageXL AGP best run @ 3D Mark99 = 1395
Intel Pentium 3 600Mhz + ATi RageXL AGP first run @ 3D Mark99 = 1577

Added VGA Memory OverClock result also here, but i think it has 25fps limit maybe @ 3DMark99 or driver level @ 2103 point score.
Intel Pentium 3 600Mhz + ATiRageXL AGP (VGaMemory OC 120MHz) first run @ 3D Mark99 = 2103 (no errors, screen ok, works ok)

Screenshots from Pentium 3, My AMD K6-2+ results i have posted before.
I also do not use fastest driver because i want d3d / opengl / 3dcif support.

Other ATi Rage XL AGP results are here:

Hello, I have a problem with Windows xp, 3dmark 99 and Matrox video cards.
Pratically the vysinc is always on despite it has been disabled, that goes only for 3dmark 99, during the first 2 tests the max fps is 30, that makes the result meaning less, is there any kind of fix?

Thanks.

I don't have a diary, the files are talkative. Although for example, I didn't need a patch for the Matrox G200 card, it ran properly with the original version.
I sent the pack because there is something in your case that solves it.

I was able to solve the issue with the vsync with the maxpatch in the end.

Thank you!
