I'm using a AOC919 17inch 1280x1024 resolution 4/3 lcd.

Win98 is crisp at 60Mhz. But blurry at optimal or 70-75Hz with native resolution.

At GLQuake, screen is wavy at 640x480 resolution, I mean, things dance with sinusoidal effect vertically, not huge waves, very very small. I dont know how to describe.

Using latest Banshee drivers. What could be the problem?

Best Regards.

I there.. I have installed recently a Banshee with wi98, and, i have the same effect.. lighlty wavyeffect in text... when gaming the effect doesnt is visible.
just tested with Quake and GLQuake.. 640x480..

I was thinking about replacing the boards capacitors, but, is it a driver's issue instead ??? using the latest oficcial drivers..

It is unlikely to be a driver thing aside from the distinctive dithering patterns in 3D games. Voodoo Banshee was the last one from 3dfx that third parties manufactured, so image quality can vary.

At deektop with 60Hz, there is no problem. With 70 and 75 it is not crisp. But with GK Quake, menu is wavy, in game it is not that much or recognizable but it is there.

I dont think it is a capacitor problem but maybe it can not cope with the LCD frequency need. Vertical or horizontal I dont know. I didnt test with a classic crt, I dont have one.
