Hey all. It's been a few days that I've noticed that the xtideuniversalbios.org size has been down. I wanted to just check up and see if there's a new EEPROM image to throw at it, but, I'm getting service error answers, which doesn't give me the good feelings.

Does anyone know what's going on with it? Is there a mirror somewhere? Are idiots who shouldn't be using computers just breaking the site?

I hope they're renaming it to option ROM instead of BIOS. It's not a BIOS.

I visited there a few days ago and while the site was up I had terrible page load times. Some would even time out and I had to retry a few times. I was looking for some info on what exactly is compiled into 386 code, both l and non-l, didn't really find much on that subject. The latest version is still r625.

Maybe someone should upload r625 to vogonsdrivers for posterity (make sure to include all the flavors)

I could care less if it's on the internet archive. I will avoid using that site at all costs.

Really ? I have had good luck with them both in allowing my archives and in finding a lot of good stuff from 1996 to present in the way back machine.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

The archive site works a treat. BM'd it. Now if Archive.org will just stay up. It had a bunch of issues over the weekend. Thanks.
