Hi guys. I recently got another synthesizer, and added another digital I/O to my XFi Xtrememusic via the FlexiJack port (there's a cheap case slot mounted clone of the I/O module on AliExpress and eBay that works great).
I have an MU2000EX, which is 44.1khz, connected with spdif to the front panel, and all was fine and dandy. In the creative control panel I simply selected 44.1khz.
But then, I got a Korg Triton-Rack, which is 48khz, and slapped it on the FlexiJack digital input. However, there doesn't seem to be any issue with them playing simultaneously in either 44.1 or 48khz selected on the control panel.
Is there some kind of resampling going on on the driver level or something? If so, should I upsample the MU2000 or downsample the Triton-Rack? I use this setup for music production with primarily just these two tone generators, so whichever the card is more proficient at, I'd like to do.
Thanks
Edit: I also have bit matched output enabled, by the way. Not sure if this has anything to do with resampling working better or not, or sample rate at all. The software EQ would be nice to have if there was no advantage to bit matched output in my situation though, since I can't find any software EQ's like Peace that work on XP.
