So on my 98 PC, I wanted to change the processor name because it’s a pentium three, but it has the generic like stepping model name in the settings So I tried editing the registry key and even having it change on start up, but nothing seems to work and it just seems to stay the same even though it says it’s successfully changed it, I also wanted to put some custom OEM info and did the normal method that everyone says online with the INI and BMP and for some reason it just doesn’t work. Does anyone have any pointers on how to do these things?

I don't know how to change it, I noticed that if I install the https://sourceforge.net/projects/kernelex/ and https://github.com/JHRobotics/patcher9x/releases/, it will print the name of the modern CPU in the System window, it may also repair it on a retro machine.

The 3 body problems cannot be solved, neither for future quantum computers, even for the remainder of the universe. The Proton 2D is circling a planet and stepping back to the quantum size in 11 dimensions.

Didn’t work for me but fixed a weird issue where some files would make media player blue screen the system

It is also good. Then at least I had some benefits to my tip.
