I'm having problems with the CD ROM Version of Sam and Max Hit the Road when either Roland MT32 or General Midi is selected from the game's sound setup. Selecting either one will cause the set up to freeze. The floppy disk version works fine however.

I'm using the latest version of the SVN-Daum build of Dosbox from ykhwong's site on a Windows 7 PC. I play plenty of other games with the MUNT MT32 emulator or General MIDI without any issues.

It seems to be a timing/speed issue, so forcing normal core and/or using limited or fixed cycles should help.

Yes! You're right! I forced cycles to 5000 and it worked fine! Thanks!

Disable the CPU cache in the bios.
