The specs claim that OPTiFM(tm) native mode is capable of 22voice, 52op, with a "unique modulation tehnique" and "flexible way to assign operators and voices".
Is there any piece of software that uses this native mode?
For example, ESSFM was supported in the form of proprietary midi drivers for windows, and Miles Sound System(in DOS).
Edit:
So, OPTi never made their own drivers, and instead, sold their chips to third parties for soundcard and driver design.
