For may Coppermine3-800EB system with Asus TNT2 M64, I installed a Voodoo2.

I think installations are ok and ready for Glide Fun, any suggestions before installing games?

I'd test it with some tool, see if heat is an issue.
Try perhaps 3Dmark 99 or 2000. Let it loop and see how hot things get. Consider neighboring cards too. You don't want to bake them.

Yes, the Voodoo 2 cards run a bit hot, especially two side-by-side if you ever get another! I'd suggest the adhesive-style heatsinks for the ICs and even a fan if you can manage! Let'er rip! 😎

The autist in me notices that you have a bend slot cover. 😉

For early Glide games, grab both GLIDE.DLL and SST1INIT.DLL files from an older Voodoo Graphics driver, then put them into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder. After that, run V2-AUTO.INF from the Voodoo2 driver to apply the necessary environment variables.

Some DOS Glide games (such the original 3dfx version of Tomb Raider that shows shadows) will have troubles with fast CPUs, the only workaround for this on a Pentium III is to temporarily set the FSB to 66 MHz.

Added some heatsinks on card to be on the safe side, an additional 80mm fan is blowing from hdd slot to back of the slot to remove heat from back slot opening.

Direct3D games crash with this config, is there something to do?

Try downgrading the Voodoo2 drivers to 3.03.00 (despite the numbering, it is not the latest version), the non-beta one.
