Is this normal?
I use CRT set full brightness full contrast and the screen is still dark
It not like I play doom on lcd monitor
LCD is more brighter

Common problem with old monitors...
Fortunately, Doom has gamma correction - F11.

Game like doom hex most of fps shooter have dark screen
But game like gods ,commander keen are fine
