Hello,

i'm running W2k as a VM under Proxmox (QEMU/KVM-based virtualisation).
Unfortunately, i wasn't able to find a working driver for paravirtualized network adapter and other devices.
I'm running Intel E1000 emulation and Cirrus Logic. But this basically limits me to gigabit-speeds and also isn't as efficient as possible.

Does anyone know which drivers are the latest that install under 2k? I tried several older versions, but wasn't able to get any running.

Thanks

ProxMox Drivers for all operating systems

With VirtIO you'll still be limited to 1GB but CPU utilization should be lower.

For spice I use universal VBE since sadly there are no drivers.

Make sure you use VirtIO block for storage, haven't seen any issues yet except for the multiple drives listed in disk management.
